Omnieyes gained favor with Taiwan Pelican Express, one of the greatest logistics in Taiwan. By combining its significant edge computing skill with motion image, Omnieyes provided its motion image solution-MyFleet-to ITTS(Information Technology Total Services)in order to build a tailor-made AloT center for Pelican. The official launch was announced at the 20th-anniversary celebration of Pelican in July this year.

The main function of the Myfleet automobile image solution is to actively recognize driving behavior through images so that to assist the fleet management and control center to be able to monitor the driver’s situation in real-time. The current Pelican control center can not only monitor the real-time dynamics of all logistics vehicles in real-time, but also use AI image recognition technology to interpret the images, and it can also directly monitor the violations of drivers. Whenever a situation occurs, an image record will be sent to the control center, and the helping managers remind the driving as soon as possible to avoid accidents.
However, whether AI technology can be applied in practice after the development is completed, Professor Chou, the CEO of technology and one of the founders, believes that the big challenge is whether customers can have a clear ROI. Take the example of Pelican, MyFleet’s solution allows the control center to monitor the driver’s situation in real-time, and accurately determine whether the driver has violated the rules, idling, and other behaviors. Based on edge AI computing, Omnieyes develops unique software-defined sensing technology. It can customize various abnormal event detection functions according to their needs.
